Reflection

Not only reflections at flat objects can be described using linear algebra. The bending of light in lenses and the reflection at curved surfaces can be treated with linear algebra too (see page 95-97 in the book of Bretscher). The picture on this page shows the reflection of a building in Boston in a nonlinear mirror.
