Was a bit of a hazy day but it was still a pleasant surprise to have sun as the weather
report had predicted clouds for today. The pictures were taken on the "Horn pond mountain"
(= "Mt Towanda"),
which is a nice little hill between Winter pond and Horn pond. It is already in Woburn
with boundary in Winchester. It is an interesting case also because the center of the hill
is carved out. It was once the city's main water reservoir. A coal fired pumphouse had pumped
water to the reservoir. You can see a picture
