## Math night. Leverett House Dining Hall, Mondays 8-10 PM

Continuing this semester, Math Night will be held every Monday night in Leverett
dining hall from 8pm to 10pm. The first Math Night of Spring 2017 will be on Ja
nuary 30th. You can find friends in your math class or other classes, work on yo
ur psets, or get help from your CAs, many of whom will be present. Extra special
food will be served! This event is for students taking what is called an "upper-level math course", meaning Math 23, 25 and 55 and all Math courses numbered in the 100's. If you are not taking upper-level math but are interested in it, you can still drop by and meet people who can tell you all about the awesome course they are taking! If fact, if you are taking Math M, 1 or 21 (a or b), you might want to take Math 101 if math interests you -- come and meet Math 101 students and CAs at Math Night! If you are looking for more formal advising for math courses, please see this page or contact the Mathematics Director of Undergraduate Studies, Professor Jacob Lurie (lurie@math.harvar.edu), or the Assistant Director of Undergraduate Studies, Preceptor Rosalie Belanger-Rioux (rbr@math.harvard.edu). For more information on the Math Concentration, please see this pamphlet. Students from Harvard GIIM (Gender Inclusivity In Math) helped put on this event. |
