The Benjamin Peirce Lectureship carries the rank of Assistant Professor. The appointments are for three years with a starting salary of approximately 60'600 for the 9 Month academic year. This salary usually can be augmented by teaching at the Summer School or by working on a research contract if funds are available. The teaching commitment is three half courses per year, including a one-term course on a subject of the lecturer's choice, if desired. The Benjamin Peirce Lecturers are expected to take part in the usual tasks of advising students.
